Project
815 Tennessee

815 Tennessee.
This project is located on an existing site in the broadly diverse Dogpatch neighborhood, having served as a brick warehouse for nearly a century. While not deemed a historical building, the surrounding community wished to keep the structure preserved.
In homage to the original construction of the site, BDE Architecture chose to keep the original portion of the brick building as a romanticized ruin, surrounded by a 69-unit residential development. The project is highlighted by a public open-air courtyard.
