The Assembly consists of 127 market rate residential units and a full ground floor of retail and commercial space. The development faces Broadway and is located in Oakland’s historic Auto Row District. 

The building itself steps back from Broadway, providing a large mix of private, semi-private and common open space shared between a landscaped podium deck and a 4,000 SF roof deck. With a total lot area of 33,170 SF, the development includes 8,000 SF of retail space situated behind an existing historic facade that has been fully repaired and restored and integrated with the new structure. 

This LEED gold certified project plays a major role in Downtown Oakland’s quickly expanding development of high-end, urban residential mixed-use buildings.
