Perched on the edge of the San Francisco Bay in Menlo Park and near Highway 84, the Menlo Flats project offers 158 new units in primarily studio and quad layouts. Designed to provide space-saving housing for young singles in Silicon Valley, the 45 quad units are divided into 4 studio units each, featuring a flexible living/sleeping room with a murphy bed, private bathroom, and a kitchenette with in-unit laundry. The quad units have additional, shared space with a full-kitchen, dining room, living room common area and private terrace. Residents will enjoy amenities such as a pool, outdoor beer garden, dog run and dog spa, fitness center, café, 2 outdoor terraces and a leasing office. The building also includes approximately 9,000 sq.ft. of rentable office spaces & 5,000 sq.ft. of ground floor retail spaces. Designed with a sleek, modern aesthetic that maximizes natural light penetration on every floor, the exterior of the building will utilize stucco, fiber cement and ACM panels and perforated MTL screen. Heller Manus is the design architect, while BDE is the architect of record for this project.
