Firehouse Square | Belmont, CA

The four-story apartment building over partial retail and below grade garage is privately funded new construction offering affordable housing. The part of the historical Fire Station façade was salvaged and incorporated into new structure to preserve a piece of the Belmont history. The space behind the historical façade is currently a Community Room where the residents can gather and organize social events. The other amenity spaces include After School Program, BBQ area and outdoor playground.

The mixed use retail/residential building proposed at the corner of El Camino Real and O’Neill Avenue utilizes a heavily varied facade treatment and roofline to step down from El Camino into the residential neighborhood at 5th Ave.
